Sophia & Justin brought us onboard to help them design their BOHO glam meets 70’s retro wedding day. We got to work together to create a cohesive design that included warm & bright colors, funky details and quirky favors for all of the guests. These two were easy to celebrate and their design was to die for!
Sophia and Justin got married at the non-profit location Sophia's parent own. So the girls set up early and spent all morning soaking in each others company and getting ready, while we handled all of the vendor logistics coming in.
During the ceremony, Justin and Sophia let their bridal party take a huge part and it was the most special part of their day that we will never forget! Each bridesmaid stood during the ceremony to talk about a trait Sophia holds that they adore about her. Then they asked Justin to vow to encourage her to keep these traits. Then Justin's groomsmen did the same. As they talked about the traits, they explained it with a story to demonstrate the trait in real life. It gave every guest a true peek into who each of them are and what they mean to not only each other, but the bridal party that loves them!
We received guests into cocktail hour with a mariachi band, and pre-poured cocktails. We ushered them to dinner with live dance performances and filled it with speeches. Guests sat around tables filled with glasses Sophia and her mother had thrifted all over the state of Texas and enjoyed magical conversations as they mixed groups of people from all over the world. It was one of the coolest evenings we have ever experienced. Then the party started!
