I am a Texas based Wedding Planner with more than 5 years of experience building timelines, buttoning and bustling wedding dresses, pinning on boutonnieres, alphabetizing place cards and bringing my couples’ drinks on the dance floor! With serving over 150 couples, we have pretty much seen it all and I take pride in my ability to think on my toes and make your wedding day plans happen the way YOU want them to happen!

- Instantly everyone’s BFF, because I have a hard time saying “no” to hopping on a call or meeting up for spontaneous coffee or drinks

- You can find me in the reception crowd mouthing all the words to every 90’s boyband or Usher song
- If I am not at a wedding on a Saturday night, I am playing barbies with my girls or drinking a margarita on the patio with my college sweetheart turned husband

Friends is better than the office or any other current day sitcom.
Private last dances, because it is the only “alone” moment many couples get during the wedding day. The party is over and your marriage has truly begun. I cry almost every time watching it (through a window or door of course) because you can literally feel your love for each other in the room!

I’m Anne, though I came to Texas as fast as I could, I’m originally from the orange groves of Florida. I developed a passion for event planning over a decade ago while pursuing my studies in hospitality at UCF (Go Knights!). My expertise in the field grew as I gained valuable experience working in the special event department at Walt Disney World and studying through the Court of Master Sommeliers. What truly captivates me about wedding planning is the harmonious blend of enchantment and reality. As a meticulous individual with a strong inclination towards organization, my greatest asset lies in transforming your wedding vision into a tangible reality. On your special day, you can count on me to be diligently working behind the scenes, ensuring every detail is perfect – from straightening floral arrangements to pinning boutonnieres, and even making sure your dad has an extra tissue for those heartfelt moments during your first dance. In my free time, I love to dream of colder weather and snow topped mountains and nibble on as many fine cheeses, iced coffees and interesting wines as I can find.

Hi! I am Lexie! I am currently a student athlete at Weatherford college, where I play volleyball and am majoring in Education! I started working for KPT Event Planning about 3 years ago, after meeting Coach Thompson in her college readiness class. I enjoy working events because every event is different and you learn so much about each couple by their wedding day. I love traveling, going to the beach and my large family!

Hi I’m Peyton! I’m currently a student at Tarleton State University and majoring in Elementary Education. On the weekends you can either catch me at a concert or watching football! A passion of the mine is traveling and exploring different parts of the country. I love learning the history and culture of the places I visit. I met Kristin when I was in 7th grade and she was my college readiness teacher. I started working for her about 2 years ago and have learned so much since. I enjoy meeting all the different people from each wedding and getting to work with them!

Teacher & Bride
In 2013 I started my teaching career and began planning my own wedding, because my (then) fiance proposed on graduation day! I had no clue wedding planning was in my future, because I thought I would be a teacher forever. I created spreadsheets for my own wedding that I still use in my business today!2018
KPT & Our first Baby Ava Were Born
We finally decided it was time to start a family and quickly realized teacher life was not as flexible as everyone said. One day after many sleepless nights with Baby Ava and a LONG day on campus, my office manager asked me “Are you going to raise your own babies or spend all of your time here raising everyone else's?” The same week Wendy asked me if I wanted to start taking on more design and planning clients and spend more time at home with Ava. It was the easiest yes of my life! The same year Ava was born, I also started KPT Event Planning!2016
Wedding Coordinator Side Gig
In 2016 I began coordinating weddings with a fellow teacher (shoutout to Weddings by Wendy) on my campus. She had put herself through college wedding coordinating for David’s Bridal and continued coordinating as a side gig for vacation money. She roped a lot of us in over the years, and I am so thankful to get to work with so many of these ladies still today, outside of the classroom!2022
Planner, Mom, + Teacher Again
The kids I taught over the years have remained in my life as bussers, assistant coordinators and more. I realized over the past few years that while I didn’t have much flexibility to be a mom as a teacher in the classroom, I was really good at what I did and I truly live for making connections on a social and cognitive level. We added another baby to the bunch and now that she is a little bigger, 2022 is the year I decided to start teaching again! Teaching vendors how to close the gap and sharing my cheat sheets with brides!How Teaching Has Impacted Our Philosophy
My time in the classroom impacted my life more than I could ever imagine. I left the classroom for a little more flexibility in my schedule while starting a family and for a little bit more adult interaction. I was passionate about many aspects of my teaching career and I have carried this passion over into the Wedding Industry. I now use my skills, patience, and philosophy that I had as a teacher to help tell love stories and help teach other Vendors how to close the gaps between Couples & Vendors to make for a better experience all around!
